Spinach & Endive Salad with toasted walnuts in a creamy Roquefort dressing | I had the salad, passing the Roquefort, as I can't stand blue (or any stinky) cheese. The walnuts were pleasant as they were slightly sugared, but not overly sweet. Overall, okay.|
Poached Salmon on a warm Potato Salad with Asparagus and Salsa Verde | Nice. It was pretty decent portion, and overall not bad at all. Presentation was simple but the salsa verde was pretty good. Out of all the salmons thus far, this one was one of the top as it was very light and refreshing.
Mixed Berries with Raspberry Sorbet and Mascarpone Cheese | Standard. Nothing special.
Conclusion: Would I return: Sure. Impressed? Well, it's standard, a decent restaurant. Good for an "older group" as it's not that stuffy nor formal, but not super casual. A very comfortable setting.
