11701 Wilshire Blvd. #15 - Santa Monica, Los Angeles
This was part of a combination package; you could choose 3 items from under 4 different categories, for $17.95.

Chicken Teriyaki | Portions were pretty good here, but that's all that's good about it. The sauce was overbearing in flavour, completely drenching the chicken and making the rice soggy. Although the chicken needed the sauce since it was dry and rough, the sauce was still too much. Good if you're really hungry, but don't expect taste.

3 Types of Hand Rolls | Salmon Skin, Spicy Tuna, and Cucumber. Other than the salmon skin which was pretty decent, there's really nothing to write home about here. The spicy tuna and cucumber were unspectacular to the point where they were just plain bland.

Uni | Surprisingly decent given what the other dishes brought to the table, though this one cost extra. It's not worth the price difference, but at least it was smooth and had some kick to it.

Conclusion: It's not that this restaurant is bad, but just merely ordinary and yet still a tad pricey. Ambience doesn't bring much, and neither does service. If you're craving sushi yet you're not too picky, then go for this restaurant by default. Otherwise, it's not a restaurant I'd readily go to.
