Mamma Mia Pizzeria

8 South Parade - Oxford, England
A friendly Italian restaurant located in the quaint neighbourhood of Summertown, it's a great restaurant to go with a group of up to 6 if you're looking for a meal that delivers excellent value in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. The Funghi All'Algio (£3.95) appetizer, the taste of which transcends its class, is a must, and you cannot go wrong with either of the Marinara main courses (Spaghetti or Pizza £7.95), neither of which skimp on the portions while delivering decent taste. If you're looking for wine to go with your meal, you cannot go wrong with the Sangiovese (£8.95 for a 1/2 litre) - a smooth, full-bodied and very flavorful red that doesn't break the bank.

The restaurant itself is a tad cramped and hot, but you can sit outside on the patio for a little more room, and the kitchen has a big picture window so you can watch the chef spin his pizzas.

Conclusion: Can't go wrong with the eats for the prices.
